I am a highly motivated and responsible individual who is driven to developing new skills and progressing into a career in the creative industry or communication. I am polite, presentable, reliable, and always flare in my creative thinking. Working well under pressure and within time constraints as well as in large groups makes me a valuable member of any team. I have a proven willingness to learn and work hard and am now seeking a challenging and fulfilling career the creative sales industry.

Work Experience              

  • 2003 – current Self- Employed Artist

    • Producing unique artwork focusing on portraits and abstract, using acrylic paint.

    • Developing client base through attaining commissions and maintaining communication with previous customers.

    • Updating accounts through monitoring financial records and administering spreadsheets as well as formatting those spreadsheets.

    • Demonstrating a good knowledge of money management skills.

  • 2019 - 2020 Self Employed Tiling & Carpentry & Painting/Decorating

    • Prepping and planning tile application to avoid slithers.

    • Hanging doors, fitting locks, basic carpentry.

    • Painting and decorating.

    • Learning to produce a shaped tile accordingly.

    • Snagging Lists and other quality control.

  • 2018 – 2018 Self- Employment Managing Director/Artist, Curvy Portraits Ltd

    • Setting up the business, maintaining records and self-teaching legal obligations through seminars as the founder of the business.

    • Producing unique 3D portraits using acrylic paint in layers to the highest of standards based on photography.

    • Being responsible for budgeting, filing tax records and all other general administration as required.

  • 2014 – 2014 Film Marker, Gibberd Gallery (Internship)

    • Working with vulnerable young adults who had been through the criminal justice system. Working alongside probation and social services to facilitate an experience aimed at reengaging these young adults into working life.

    • Capturing video then editing to a high standard to be included alongside the main exhibition of Bunkers with resident artist Nick Turvey.

    • Communicating with people at all levels whilst attempting to keep all parties satisfied. For example, through communication with a parent via Probation it became necessary to blur out all the faces in the final cut of the video to protect the participants’ identity.

  • 2013 – 2013 Artist associated with community-based charity (Gatehouse Arts)

    • Worked in own studio, developing, and producing own artwork for inclusion in exhibitions in the dedicated gallery used by the charity.

    • Assisting with exhibitions including curating as well as assisting with gallery open days and even configuring gallery lighting.

  • 2000 – 2001 Outbound Telesales, Dial a Phone

    • Making outbound calls to selected customers.

    • Selling products over the phone.

    • Explaining all services and benefits.

    • Working in a competitive manner with the team.

    • Completing credit checks and payments.
